24+ | Boundless Build
Instructions
Using any set of blocks or even stackable objects, ask your little one to build a tall tower. Watch them focus as they build their creation, carefully stacking pieces one on top of the other. Narrate what you see, and let your child know you see them working hard. At the end, your child can choose to knock down the tower.
The Science
As your child works to stack objects, they are strengthening their planning and sensory-motor skills. In other words, the task requires them to build connections between different neural networks, which helps create a stronger and more enriched brain.
