We started the clean babycare movement in 2020 when we launched the first EWG VERIFIED® diaper. Since then, we’ve expanded to prenatal vitamins, wipes, skincare, and cleaning supplies—all tested and reviewed for safety.

Our diapers are made with the EU's higher standards

While menstrual and adult incontinence products are classified as medical devices and regulated by the FDA, baby diapers are not. Instead, diapers fall under the jurisdiction of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

In the absence of stricter American regulation, HealthyBaby diapers are made in the EU and adhere to the EDANA Stewardship Programme Standard, which promotes a commitment to elevated safety standards in material selection, chemical safety, and transparency, in accordance with European regulatory frameworks for environmental responsibility.

Our diapers are made at a carbon-neutral facility that runs on 100% green renewable energy.

Our diapers are Certified Plastic Neutral

HealthyBaby aspires to make the world’s first 100% plastic-free disposable diaper, but we’re not there yet.

Until then, our diapers are Certified Plastic Neutral in partnership with rePurpose Global, meaning that we’re committed to eliminating and reducing plastic wherever possible, offsetting the plastic footprint from our products and operations.

By limiting—and eventually, ending—the use of unnecessary chemicals, we strive to do what’s best for babies and our planet.

Our products are rigorously tested for safety

Chemical compound testing

Our diapers are tested for chemicals that may be considered toxic or harmful for use, following the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 guidelines and limit values. We continually update what we test for as regulations and awareness of ingredient safety evolve.

Clinical HRIPT

All of our products undergo clinical HRIPT (Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing) for irritation and sensitization potential by independent labs under the supervision of board-certified dermatologists.

Our EWG VERIFIED® essentials

HealthyBaby has more EWG VERIFIED® products than any other babycare company.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that researches and advocates for policies and practices to protect human health and the environment. EWG’s Skin Deep® Database scores cosmetics and personal care products based on the hazards associated with their ingredients.

The EWG VERIFIED® mark indicates that a product meets EWG’s strict standards for transparency and health:

• Avoids EWG's ingredients of concern

  EWG VERIFIED® products cannot contain any ingredients on EWG’s “Unacceptable” list, which includes ingredients with potential health, ecotoxicity, and/or contamination concerns.
  
  
• Full transparency

  EWG VERIFIED® products must meet EWG’s standards for ingredient disclosure on the label. Product manufacturers must be fully transparent with EWG about that product’s ingredients, including fragrance ingredients.
  
  
• Good manufacturing practices

  EWG VERIFIED® product manufacturers must develop and follow current good manufacturing practices to further ensure the safety of their products.

Our prenatal vitamins

HealthyBaby partnered with the Neurological Health Foundation (NHF) to create comprehensive prenatal vitamins, customized for the biological demands of each trimester.

Dr. James Adams, a prenatal nutrition expert and chair of the NHF Scientific Advisory Board, distilled insights from 350+ studies to establish evidence-based recommendations for the optimal level of vitamins and minerals during pregnancy. Then he evaluated 188 prenatal supplements on the market, and found that the average prenatal supplement has only 44% of the recommended daily dose of vitamins and minerals.

We formulated Our Prenatal to meet the recommended level of vitamins and minerals. Every lot is third-party tested for heavy metals and inspected for quality before and after encapsulation.
